Adcock Studios, makers of handmade functional art, is an ongoing collaborative husband and wife artisan project. With over 80 years combined experience in their mediums, this handmade collection features basketry, mixed media clay and fiber vessels, functional glazeware, and a new line of funereal urns.
Michael Adcock is a studio potter who makes both functional and decorative pottery as well as mixed media.
Christine Adcock is a contemporary basket weaver. They each find inspiration in the beauty of the natural world and incorporate forms and elements of nature in their work.
After traveling the country to exhibit their work for many years at many of the premier fine craft shows, galleries and museums across the country such as the Smithsonian and Philadelphia Museum Craft Shows, the Adcocks are now engaged in offering a greener approach to marketing their work via the web directly to you. With gratitude for the many lovers of fine craft who have supported their work, Michael and Christine invite you to enjoy this website and hope it will encourage ongoing and new relationships.
The designs shown on this site are available for sale and Adcock Studios also welcomes inquiries about custom work.
